We kick off this week’s Blendover with a short discussion about Doctor Who as the current series races to its conclusion. Later, we dive into the case of Tim Lambesis, lead vocalist from As I Lay Dying, who has been arrested and accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill his ex-wife! A strange story to say the least!

Meanwhile, we have the biggest laugh about Newt Gingrich’s stupid (and possibly drunk) rant about what to call a smartphone, even though it’s called a smartphone. We’re leaning towards one of the YouTube comments: Horseless Telephone. It’s worth a listen, seriously.

We also have a look at a couple of the viral videos taking the web by the collar this week - including the enigmatic yet brilliantCharles “Dead Giveaway” Ramsey in the rescue of the three girls kidnapped for 10 years in Ohio, along with his auto-tune remix. After last week’s stunning revelations on the connections we made between the Boston bombings and the Texas detonation to Clockwork Solutions, we continue with more research, digging deeper finding even more corporate connections and interests tied to not only these events, but also to the Canadian train terror plot, plus the explosion in Alabama. Again, you won’t find this kind of coverage anywhere else online.

But that’s all much later in the show. For starters, we take a look at the mysterious 9/11 ROPE conundrum. The real deal? Staged? Something else? We dig into it a little and find nothing but more questions the media is not asking. Also, we go for a dive into the Bitcoin ocean, and come up with nothing but concerns about the whole setup. As usual, Blendover continues to focus on elements in news getting little coverage, and this week we find an odd connection between the Boston attack and the Texas explosion - in the form of Joe Berti who coincidentally witnessed both events. Recording the Fifteenth Episode on the Fifteenth day of April, we turn our attention to the attack in Boston during the annual marathon on Patriots’ Day (or Tax Day, take your pick) - a tragic event that has shocked the world. We discuss the facts as we know them up to this point, and highlight some of the sketchy reports that some may point at as questionable.

Meanwhile, over in the UK, the song “Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead” has been flying in the charts in ‘memory’ of Baroness Maggie Thatcher, but the BBC refuses to play it in full. SO, Blendover plays the song in full - but not the version you remember… the Bacon Queen, Amy Vernon, will be VERY happy with the version we’ve chosen ;-)

Blendover is back as we (ominously?) record our superstitous 13th episode on April Fool’s Day. Fate or an omen? It doesn’t matter because we soldier on and begin to deconstruct some of the unprofessional reporting by the media about the recent murder of a DA in Texas, that may be tied to white supremacists, although Greg hints he thinks it’s tied to some other organized crime.

As promised, we did our homework and report back to you about the crisis in Cyprus; an economic robbery by a number of different parties, consequences be damned! We also find a familiar voice in the mix, from a suspect individual we’ve heard before on the podcast.

Later we feature a hard-edged band from Australia called THE MARK OF CAIN, and speaking of music, we also have a brief preview of Corey Koehler’s NEW song, released as we recorded the show! It is obvious that the two offenders saw the victim as some one that could be treated as a thing. This is not about sex, it is about power and control. I guess that is what I am getting at. Sex was probably not the hardest thing for the two to get, so that wasn’t the objective. When you hear the jokes being made during the crime, it is the purest contempt.

So, how do you fix that? I’m just shooting rubber bands at the night sky but here are a few ideas: Put women’s studies in high school the curriculum from war heroes to politicians, writers, speakers, activists, revolutionaries and let young people understand that women have been kicking ass in high threat conditions for ages and they are worthy of respect.

Total sex ed in school. Learn how it all works. Learn what the definition of statutory rape is and that it is rape, that date rape is rape, that rape is rape.

In the spirit of equal time, sites like Huffington Post should have sections for male anatomy hanging out instead of just the idiotic celebrity “side boob” and “nip slip” camera ops. I have no idea what that would be like to have a camera in my face at every turn, looking for “the” shot. I know what some of you are saying. “Then why do they wear clothes like that unless they want those photos taken?” I don’t know what to tell ya. Perhaps just don’t take the fuckin picture? Evolve? I don’t know.

Last week, Greg’s attention was directed to a series of Twitter accounts that were all named some variation of “Googuns”, and much like the classic and creepy Numbers Stations, were tweeting seemingly random hex-dec code every 5 minutes, and had done so since 2009. What the hell is this? What does it all mean? On Blendover, we do the digging and make some connections that nobody has yet made - and reveal what we believe to be the group (or groups) behind the mysterious Googuns accounts. You won’t hear this anywhere else but on Blendover.

Meanwhile, we address some concerns we have in the reactions to the Steubenville OH rape case, as it seems the media is shaping any commentary about the victim in the story to be “slut-shaming”.
